I am now attempting to download and install 2022-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008353) after updating completely Saturday, January 22 2022. this illustrates that the system senses the scanner. but this suggests there is no scanner. even with this configuration, occasionally it works fine.
