Can't find my scanner after updating to Windows 11
I am now attempting to download and install 2022-01 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB5008353) after updating completely Saturday, January 22 2022. this illustrates that the system senses the scanner. but this suggests there is no scanner. even with this configuration, occasionally it works fine.

Open device manager and expand the Imaging devices. 2. Find the scanner and right-click it to select Uninstall. Then the scanner driver will be uninstalled in your Windows 10. 3. Restart your computer, system will scan all the devices and install Windows 10 WIA driver for your scanner.
